About Rebekah
I have worked as a full time Nanny so I am aware of how to properly communicate with children. I have full understanding that when a child does not understand a concept mostly like it means that they need the concept reinterpreted in a way they WILL understand. I am a dedicated teacher who loves seeing kids have their "light bulb" moment when learning. I have tutored primary and high school kids since I was in high school myself (roughly 5 years). I welcome all age and difficulties levels.

A typical lesson would first be looking at homework, making sure that we know the material being taught at school. We would try work through problems together and isolate any issues they may be having in accomplishing this task. If the homework is completed with ease we would discuss areas that are of difficulties to the child and do practice problems together. The lesson would end with two problems (mini quiz) that they would do completely on their own to see if they understand the material. I tutor in a way that allows the student to come up with the answers themselves (not by me telling them the answers).
