Having completed engineering school, I understand the overall meaning and purpose of math, not just the numbers and formulas. I think the most important aspect of truly understanding math is learning the ‘why’ behind the concept or formula. I tie in proven study habits to my lessons so students learn how to truly problem solve and retain information. My four years as an engineering student has taught me all the tips and tricks to be successful in school.
