About Arwyn

Educated in both the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC (Anne Hathaway, Adrien Brody) where I received the Charles Jehlinger award for excellence in acting, and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London (Anthony Hopkins, Ralph Fiennes) where I honed my Shakespeare skills, I'm a passionate and experienced actor eager to bring my knowledge to newcomers to the craft.

About the lesson

Experienced in everything from improv games to reconnect with your impulses, to the intricate rhythms and epic emotions of Shakespeare - whether you're looking to up your scene study game, prepare for an audition, master the art of the monologue, learn techniques for the screen, or devise your own work, I can help you set out as a beginner, or hone your skills as an intermediate performer. Middle and high school, or early university - Ages 12-20. I've studied in both NYC and London, and have a breadth of techniques and wisdoms to share from master teachers, as well as my own experience acting in short films and onstage. I look forward to working with you!

I've known Arwyn for eight years and I can confidently say she is one of the most intelligent, thoughtful, mature, and responsible people I have ever met. Arwyn is a super learner which makes her an ideal teacher for essentially any subject, but she excels in theater, music (both vocal and instrumental), as well as English/ Literature. She is a consummate professional who always strives to be well-prepared and well-versed.
Everyone wants to learn from a smart person, but not every smart person is well-suited to teach - this isn't the case with Arwyn. She is very patient and kind, striving to meet people at their level.
