Comparing and contrasting the conceptions of SELF, BODY, CONSCIOUSNESS, KARMA and EXISTENTIAL CRISIS as propounded by eminent Western scholars like Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan, Fyodor Dostoevsky , Albert Camus, Jean Paul Sartre and several other philosophers, along with the ancient yet immensely enriched Eastern Vedantic and Upanishadic Discourse. The research work aims to draw the inference of a possible way out of the horrible and repugnent existential crisis faced by the present world by following the Vedantic lores which sings over the pilgrims' progress of humanity for a better world.
