About BILL
As indicated in my "title", I am a retired attorney. My law practice was a private general practice in which I helped people navigate many kinds of issues such divorce, bankruptcy, criminal, estate planning and settlement, civil litigation, etc. Such work required a command of English on both the professional and personal level. Since retiring from the law practice and moving to Cochise County, AZ, I have tutored college students and also taught music, career exploration and math to elementary, middle and high school students

First and foremost, it is important for me to get to know the student and find out exactly what their goals are and what, if any, issues are impeding their progress in reaching such goals. I also closely monitor the student's progress in covering lesson materials to see if any remedial effort is needed. I believe that learning needs to be organized and that the basic elements of any subject needs to be firmly established in order to assure progress to more advanced topics. I, also, like to relate all learning to issues found in each students daily life to make more easily understood and interesting.
