About Rebekah
Hello, I'm Rebekah.
I am a primary school teacher trained at the University of Roehampton and gaining Qualified Teacher Status in July 2026. With experience teaching across KS1 and KS2, I offer support in English, maths, 7+ preparation and the wider primary curriculum, both online and in person.
Before becoming a teacher, I spent thirty years helping organisations including the BBC, ITV and Times Online communicate complex ideas through storytelling, content and creative communication. I now bring those same skills into my teaching, helping children understand new concepts, make sense of the world around them and develop the confidence to think independently and share their ideas.
Building strong relationships with children is one of my greatest strengths as a teacher. One parent recently told me that her daughter describes me as her "favourite teacher" and asked if I would continue supporting her alongside her 7+ tutor.
Whether we are exploring a story, tackling a maths challenge or preparing for a 7+ assessment, my aim is to make learning engaging, memorable and enjoyable, while helping children leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived.

Every child deserves to feel confident, capable and successful in their learning. My aim is to create lessons that are supportive, engaging and enjoyable, while helping children make steady progress and develop belief in their own abilities.
I tailor lessons to each child, taking into account their interests, strengths and areas where they may need extra support. Whether we are working on reading, writing, comprehension, maths or SATs preparation, I break learning down into clear, manageable steps and provide plenty of opportunities to revisit and practise new skills.
Before retraining as a primary teacher, I spent more than twenty years helping organisations communicate ideas clearly and engage audiences.
I often use stories, books, discussion, games and real-world examples to bring learning to life and keep children motivated. Above all, I want children to leave lessons feeling proud of what they have achieved and excited about what they can do next.
Lessons are designed for KS1 and KS2 pupils and typically last 60 minutes. Parents receive regular feedback and suggestions for supporting learning between sessions.
