About My Lessons: I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and my tutoring approach is designed to unlock that potential. My lessons are personalized to meet the unique needs of each child, with a strong focus on goal setting. Together with both the parent and the student, we establish clear goals—whether it’s homework completion, exam preparation, reading confidence, smoother reading fluency, or even building a positive mindset around school. I work to develop confidence, helping students believe in their ability to succeed and overcome challenges. Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a review of the student's goals. We then practice the target concepts through repetition and hands-on engagement, which allows the student to ask questions and work through challenges as needed. For mastery-based goals, I use a technique where students are encouraged to teach the material back to me, ensuring they fully understand the concepts and can apply them independently. This process reinforces the idea that teaching others is a great way to solidify learning. What Sets Me Apart: I focus on effective learning methods that promote true mastery. Through engagement, consistent practice, and reiteration of concepts, my students build confidence and ensure long-term retention. I also provide at-home study techniques and resources to reinforce what we’ve worked on during lessons. My goal is to make learning fun, while focusing on the best methods to help each student thrive. Who My Lessons Are For: K–12 students who need homework assistance in any subject area or help staying organized with assignments, projects, and deadlines. K–12 students who are struggling with reading fluency and confidence. Middle and high school students needing assistance with science concepts for exam prep, homework, projects, or general knowledge building. I’m here to help students feel more confident in their learning journey, making schoolwork not just manageable but enjoyable. Let’s work together to create a learning experience that feels empowering and rewarding.

Bailey is hands down one of the best tutors we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. She is kind, patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable, intelligent, fun to work with, and her teaching style is engaging, encouraging and supportive. She truly has the heart of a teacher. She is inspiring, and she truly wants the best for her students. Our son was so blessed to receive her support in two subjects he needed extra help with, and she helped him do better in school. Bailey’s creative ideas and recommendations are brilliant. 10/10 - we highly recommend Bailey. She is a treasure!
