About Emily
My name is Emily, I am a 22 year old woman born and raised in New Zealand. In 2025 I graduated from the University of Otago with a bachelor of science, majoring in genetics and with minors in microbiology and English. Next year I will begin my masters in genetic counselling and believe that by tutoring I can not only use my skills to help someone else, but can also transfer the skills I will gain from this experience, into my future work with patients.

My strongest quality as a tutor is that my lessons will be tailored to each student, based on the desired outcome from tutoring.
For example, if you wanted help for an upcoming test I would create a structured plan with specific benchmark goals to ensure you get the most out of lessons and ace the test!
After an initial lesson to establish your goals and baseline level of knowledge I would create this lesson plan to base future sessions from, this will allow for efficient learning for you and clear outlines for me to work from.
