About Maya
I have tutored formally and informally as long as I can remember. I love math and I love helping people understand. I will be the first to say that math is indeed hard but I really do believe that anyone can do math so long as we can get into the basics and why we do the things that we do.

I really like stepping back and finding out exactly what a student doesn’t understand so we can build to where we want to be. I believe understanding the basics and WHY we do things the way that we do is so incredibly important in understanding math.
