About Lonnie
I am 55 years of age, currently a senior in the UNT History department. I work part-time for a Law firm as Client Advocate in Mass Torts, I am a TA for the First Year Writing program in the English Department, a URF Research Fellow with my focus in Roman studies, and both a former UNT Athletic Tutor and Ronald E. McNair Scholar. I have conducted advanced research, given public presentations, both oral and poster, and worked with all ages of individuals. I am easygoing, encouraging and I believe my strategy toward essays and research papers is highly efficient and rewarding for both the student and myself. I still learn with every student I meet and assist.

Writing can be a daunting task, whether that be History, English or another subject. However, the mechanics and process do not change significantly and are absolutely critical to the endeavor itself. I particularly focus on the introduction, as it is the roadmap which will guide you through the entire process. It is a more technical approach, but it is important and will make your papers and research much more efficient and easier to construct.
