About Ryan
I used to be a camp counselor and so the outdoors are kind of my bread and butter. One of my favorite things to do outside of school is whale watching. I am originally from Minnesota and so I have never had the chance to see whales on a regular basis... so now I am on all the whale watching apps/groups so that I know exactly which dock/beach to find all the whales at!

- Senior at the University of Puget Sound double majoring in Natural Science Biology and Environmental Policy. - Multiple semesters worth of lab instructor experience, this entails tutoring college-level courses - Camp counselor which allowed me to develop strong social/interpersonal skills - Various research projects done at my University that include local system processes such as sub-tidal and intertidal regions around the Puget Sound - Actively an Intern with Save Our Wild Salmon which allows me to talk and distill scientific information to the general public - Weekly radio show host that dives into different salmon/orca based ecology, conservation, and more!
