About Poppy

I am currently studying Maths and Further Maths at A-level, predicted A*/A with a view to studying Maths at university. My high achievement in maths at GCSE means I can advise students on the best revision methods. I also have previous experience mentoring GCSE and younger students in-school. I believe that this, paired with my passion for the subject, will allow me to be a successful tutor and to help students reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My lessons would consist of making sure students understand the basics of the course in order to allow them to build on this knowledge. I would provide challenging exercises covering the respective syllabus to ensure that students are capable and confident in their work. Having mentored in the past, I have seen which methods are the most effective and will use these going forward.

Poppy was such an amazing tutor! She was so sportive throughout the time I was being tutored. She was such a positive, polite and patient person. Poppy listens to me and helped me strengthen my weaknesses. I couldn’t recommend Poppy enough she was exactly what I was looking for!
