About François
I am a university lecturer, researcher, and passionate educator with an international academic background. I have taught at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and have several years of experience helping students develop strong analytical and writing skills.
My academic journey has taken me through France, Germany, the United States, and Japan. I hold several master's degrees in philosophy, management, sociology, aesthetics, and comparative law, and I am currently completing a PhD in Comparative Law. I have also studied at the INSEEC Business School, the University of Paris-Panthéon-Assas, the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and Keio University in Tokyo.
Beyond academic success, I enjoy helping students gain confidence, ask better questions, and discover that philosophy is a powerful way to understand the world. Whether you are preparing for an examination, applying to university, or exploring philosophy out of curiosity, I look forward to supporting your learning journey.

I believe philosophy should not be about memorizing theories, but about learning how to think clearly, argue convincingly, and engage with some of the most important questions about humanity, society, and knowledge.
As a university lecturer and researcher with an international academic background, I adapt every lesson to the student's objectives, whether they are preparing for high school or university examinations, developing essay-writing skills, exploring the history of philosophy, or simply studying philosophy out of personal interest.
My teaching combines clear explanations, structured discussion, close reading of philosophical texts, and practical exercises. I place particular emphasis on critical thinking, logical reasoning, and building confidence in oral and written argumentation.
I hold several master's degrees, including in Philosophy, and I am currently completing a PhD in Comparative Law. I have also studied management, sociology, aesthetics, and economics in France, the United States, and Japan, which allows me to connect philosophy with a wide range of disciplines and contemporary issues.
Lessons are available online in French or English, and I can also communicate in German and Japanese when helpful.
