About Hitesh
I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. I’ve always had a deep passion for mathematics and problem-solving, and I enjoy helping others find clarity and confidence in the subject.

My lessons are tailored to the student’s level, curriculum, and academic goals. I specialise in tutoring A-Level and IB students (Years 12 and 13), and I offer support with core Maths topics as well as university entrance preparation (including STEP and MAT). My approach is clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual goals — whether that’s achieving an A*, preparing for a degree in Maths, or strengthening problem-solving skills. I typically start with a short diagnostic to identify strengths and gaps, and then build lessons that focus on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and exam technique. I use past papers, visual explanations, and structured practice to help students become more confident and independent in Maths.
