About Lyn
I enjoy helping students to realise their potential through developing a passion in them for the subject matter and how to pass any forthcoming examinations.
My own interests are English language, English literature, Social Sciences and Legal Studies but I also read widely on subjects which include psychology [human behaviour], global politics and environmental issues.
I've lived in many different overseas countries including UK, Europe, Africa, PNG and Indonesia. Different cultural perspectives add to the quality of the turoring.

I prefer to do one on one tutoring [or very small groups] with the aim of stimulating an interest in the subject being taught.
I'm an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about what I teach.
Teaching methods are intended to stimulate an interest in the subject being taught. These include :-
. Developing foundational skills in the subject
. Understanding core principles
. Provide guided practice in literature, social sciences and legal studies
. Challenge students at their level
. Build self-confidence in knowledge and skills
. Ensure that the individual or small group are making progress
Typical length of a lesson is 50 minutes per session
Lessons are for older students from year 10- year 12
I'm a former University Lecturer in law at Griffith University, Gold Coast where I devised and worked with students in lectures, tutorials and examinations.

Details
Pricing at $55 hour is for one student; for 2-4 students this reduces to $50 hour. Maximum number of students acceptable for small group learning is 4 students. This allows me to give attention to each individual and assess their strengths and weaknesses.
