About Grayson
I’m a friendly and organized student studying STEM, Business, and Spanish. I’ve completed both high school and college-level Calculus with A grades, and I received a 35 on the ACT. I find math fun and enjoy helping others feel the same! I’m reliable, patient, accessible, and committed to creating a supportive atmosphere for every student I work with. Qualifications: - Urban High School of San Francisco - University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (STEM, Business, Spanish student) Relevant completed coursework: - Algebra, Geometry, Trig, Precalculus, Calculus - Theory of Infinite Sets and Chaos Theory - Group Theory

My lessons are individualized and focused on helping my students understand any specific math topics they're struggling with. A typical lesson plan looks like:
- warm up problem/activity
- brief topic lesson/review
- walk-through of example problems
- practice problems, help with specific homework/questions
I also provide review resources and practice problems to help students build their confidence on their own. I prioritize not just knowing the answer, but helping my students achieve understanding of the process to get there.
I'm willing to teach basic arithmetic and Algebra all the way up to single variable Calculus. Lessons are conducted via Zoom.
