I am a grade 11th student who has cleared CBSE grade 10 examinations with an overall aggregate of 97% and a perfect 100 in English and Spanish.
In the Indian curricula, English is the most neglected subject. However, it should be a subject that one learns properly for it is needed in all walks of life, right from filling college applications to making a resume.

I would structure the classes in such a way that not only is the school curriculum covered but also the essentials of building a good base for English. This will include vocabulary building, effective communication, college essay writing to name a few.
I would also use the visual media to teach, as being a student myself I know how quickly that helps one
understand and grasp concepts.
