Super Tutor

Devendra is one of our best Maths tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Devendra

I have been teaching for the last 6 years and my specialty is Maths. Being a graduate from IIT, Maths comes easy to me and with experience from a company involved in education research, I understand the problems of students in learning the concepts. I have ensured that the fear of Maths is removed from many students and some of my students who hated maths have gone on to score > 90% in final Board examinations.

About the lesson

I have taken up teaching Maths post my retirement as Assistant Vice President in an MNC. Maths is my passion and I adopt methods which make the concepts easy for my students. I relate the concepts to daily life. I have been with Byju's as Professor of Maths and have taught class X ICSE. The highlight was that many students who hated maths started liking it and some even went on to score > 90% in Board exams. I was also associated with an education research company and have a deep knowledge of how children learn and what their difficulties/misconceptions are, and my teaching takes these aspects into account and helps the children. Presently, I am associated with M/s Vedantu as an online tutor for Maths - class XI and class XII. I have completed more than 180 hours of teaching with a score of 5 out of 5. The effectiveness of my teaching can be seen in the feedback received from students. I use animations/charts and real-life examples to drive home the concept. My focus is mainly on making the concept clearly understood. My students have enjoyed the experience of learning in a fun way!!

Perfect! Mr. Devendra Shah teaches maths for my son in 9th grade (ICSE). My kid's performance in maths deteriorated in 7th and 8th, with increase in both complexity and volume of portions. This made him nervous and anxious of the subject. Low scores made him lose his confidence. I engaged Mr. Devendra Shah through a friend's recommendation in Apr20. Since then, my son's mindset towards maths has positively changed. He is more confident and comfortable with the subject. The tutor assesses each student's aptitude and fine-tunes his approach accordingly. He does not rush through the portion for the sake of completion, but ensures that the chapter is well understood and assessed before he moves forward. He ensures enough practice is done by the student. I am very happy with his style of teaching and strongly recommend him.

He is great maths and physics teacher. I'm studying with him since April 2021 and he's able to clear all my doubts and concepts.
I'm also getting a great result with studying with him. If you ask any doubt, or any concept or any part he will clarify you. From my advice he is great and trustworthy. I ask him questions even late night and he give me answers with same clarity and dedication.
He is one of best mathematics teachers I've studied with. Due to him I now trust on online classes. His technique of teaching will create a class room environment even at your home. His dedication and knowledge towards the subject is just amazing, not everyone has talent like this!
