About Ophelia
With a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and more than seven years of teaching experience, I support students preparing for IB and A-Level Math. My sessions are built around the principle of conceptual clarity, ensuring that learners understand the “why” behind each process. I teach multiple strategies for problem-solving so students can develop confidence and versatility. Past paper practice plays a vital role in my lessons, giving students valuable exam preparation. My expertise is in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, where I provide structured guidance and detailed explanations. I believe math is a subject that becomes much easier with a strong foundation. My teaching is patient, engaging, and tailored to individual learning styles. I encourage independent thinking while providing clear support at every step. Over the years, I have seen students make significant progress and achieve excellent results. Each lesson is focused on building both skill and self-confidence. Complex problems are simplified through visual examples and coding-style breakdowns. I believe math should be a tool, not just theory. Lessons help students communicate confidently about computational problems. Every step aims to build skill and comfort. Together, we bring math into digital life with purpose and creativity.
