About Ruairí
Tutored for a number of years - began volunteering as a pupil at lunch times and followed this through when working as an assistant in a Grammar school working with pupils at all abilities.
Teacher training - in my first year of Teacher Training in Belfast studying Maths as part of my degree.

Personal approach - Believe that tutoring should not be the same as school-based learning. I do my best to get to know students and cater my approach to individuals.
Tackling issues with learning - Most pupils want/need tutoring because they dislike Maths or they believe they couldn't ever be good at it. I always start with this Maths Anxiety. I aim to make lessons engaging by aiming them at the individual's level and by showing that, with some work, they have nothing to fear from Maths.
Results driven - Most lessons based on Past Papers and how to work through them in an methodical way.
