About Emily
Since high school, I have enjoyed teaching and tutoring. In middle school, I was one of my school's peer tutors where I tutored my fellow grademates in subjects such as English and History, and in high school I became the president of a club dedicated to teaching English literacy and fluency skills to local primary students in Shanghai, China.
After graduating from high school, I began to tutor students in English as a part-time job, and I continued this passion in university, where I taught Chinese students in preparation for IELTS exams.

I have achieved a score of 8.5/9.0 in IELTS, 31/42 in LNAT, and 5/5 for AP English Language. Experienced tutor with three years of teaching experience.
I will always personally tailor my lesson plans and structure to each student; at the beginning of our first lesson, I like to have my students complete a simple mock test so I know how to begin structuring our lessons to best aid your goals.
I have two types of lessons: long-term classes, and short-term classes. My long-term classes are for students who wish to strengthen their foundations in their desired subjects, where I will slowly and steadily build on their basics and move on to more advanced material. My short-term classes are for students with urgent exam deadlines who require fast improvement, and they are cram classes where I will teach exam tips and tricks that will best help students in achieving the highest marks possible.
