About Dean

Playing music live (I play for Bret Michaels of the band Poison), recording and teaching from over 4 decades, I have tons of experience to help guide a student to where they would like to get to. Whether it's play their favorite song, write their own or something else, I can help get you there, building up your confidence along the way. If you're already playing, we can organize things so that you can see connections, making things easier to remember.

English

I'm a 46-year veteran of playing and teaching music for a living and have developed ways to understand and retain playing guitar/music, making a more confident player. I start with checking that the student has a very solid base, then build up from there. Music theory helps organize things and gives confidence in your playing, by helping to eliminate the guesswork. All ages, all levels. I can also give real-world advice on touring, playing local and gear setups.
