My teaching method is meeting students where they are and building up! I teach Life Sciences Grade level 7-12, specializing in cell biology, DNA and forensic science. I thrive on connecting the dots and making lessons applicable to students.
I start with a bell ringer to recall last lesson.
I introduce a QOTD (question of the day).
I love fun facts to peak curiosity.
I assign topic research to get familiar.
I use an engaging presentation with embedded clips/videos, with guided notes.
I assign an activity and worksheet for practice.
I love ending with an 3-2-1 exit ticket.
