About Katie
I have been helping students for five years starting in the student help center at my community college. Since then I have helped every friend/family member I can understand concepts in biology, anatomy and other science classes they struggle with in school. Everyone that implements my study techniques has gone on to pass their classes.

I am a recent University of Connecticut graduate who has a bachelors degree in Biology with a concentration in Cell Biology. I love science, and love teaching it even more! I am a very visual learner myself so I have always implemented that same hands on style when helping others understand concepts in science. I understand everyone has different methods of learning that suit them and do my best to adapt to those to help students succeed. Whether someone is on track to have a career in science or they just need to pass one class, I love helping others understand the subjects and get grades they are proud of. I am currently a Pharmaceutical Representative and help doctors understand different diseases and medicines every day.
