I use repetition in my lessons, although it may not be the most fun at times, it has proven successful with everyone that I have helped as long as they have put the work in, I create my own questions that I give to my students, this allows me to gauge how much work has to be done to achieve their goal.
I am a first-year University of Glasgow student studying Mathematics, been giving lessons for half a year, helped one person get an A in national 5, and two people get an A in higher, very interactive sessions. I myself got an A band 1 in Higher Maths and achieved a B in my first-semester maths exam (it was very hard and has no links to the syllabus in schools)
