About Sanjana
I am a university math student with a strong interest in mathematics and teaching, and I am working towards becoming a professor in the future. I take tutoring seriously and approach it with patience, structure, and responsibility because I understand students are trusting me with their learning and confidence in the subject.
I focus on helping students build real understanding step by step instead of memorizing formulas. My goal is not just to solve problems, but to make sure the concepts actually make sense and stay with you beyond exams.
In high school, I often struggled with certain topics and did not always understand them while they were being taught. Looking back, I sometimes think about how I would explain those same ideas differently to make them easier to grasp. That habit has shaped my teaching style and helps me stay patient and thoughtful when students are stuck.
I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome. My goal is to help students build confidence in math and reach a point where it finally starts to click.

Math can get overwhelming pretty quickly when everything feels rushed or like steps are being skipped. I focus on slowing things down and actually building understanding instead of rushing through formulas like we are in a speedrun. No memorizing random steps and hoping for the best, I promise we are not doing that here. If something does not make sense, we pause and break it down properly until it does.
I like keeping lessons relaxed and simple because math already has enough pressure on it without adding more stress. Think of it more like figuring things out together, not a strict lecture where you are scared to speak up.
At the same time, lessons are still structured and focused so you actually improve and feel more confident with the topic. You can ask questions as many times as needed, even if it is the “I don’t even know what I don’t know” type of question.
Whether you are trying to catch up, improve your grades, or just feel more comfortable with math, we will go step by step at your pace. No stress, no judgment, just steady progress and those satisfying “ohhh I get it now” moments.
