About Catherine
I am a student at UofT, currently going into a History Major and a Philosophy Minor and hopefully a Criminology Major in the future. Throughout my academic career, I have been especially drawn to humanities and social science subjects such as History and English literature and found that by teaching others these subjects, I can understand them even more in-depth and at the same time help another learn.

My teaching methods are ideally tailored towards each student, flexible, and generally focused on understanding and applying concepts instead of simply memorizing and regurgitating facts. Being able to learn through action and critical thinking will prove to be far more helpful with the student's future rather than baseless memorizing. My teaching methodology will aim to reflect that belief.
