About Scarlette
Coming from an oversubscribed state school with limited resources, I learnt quickly the importance of utilising time outside the classroom. Many schools teach large groups as a collective, overlooking individual learning needs and limiting students from reaching their full potential. Developing a personal and effective approach to studying became the most valuable part of my education. Discovering these methods independently involved a lengthy process of trial and error, but personalised online tutoring will help students access personalised methods faster, allowing them to study more efficiently and confidently.
Growing up competing internationally in dance taught me how demanding students' schedules can be. Despite this, I balanced academia, sports, and personal time, proving that with efficient management (built upon in my sessions) students from all lifestyles are capable of achieving highly across different areas of their lives.
I believe that academic success should not be measured purely by grades, but also by a student's confidence, enjoyment, and fulfilment in learning. Any subject can become engaging when taught with an authentic passion and enthusiasm, and I aim to create lessons that help students feel both capable and interested in what they are learning.

- My main goal is to make lessons as engaging, approachable, and tailored to each individual.
- We will work collaboratively to discover unique techniques and methods to ensure academic content is learnt and retained to the highest level.
- With 1 hour sessions, we will build a roadmap to improving academic performance, whilst developing organisation and transferable academic skills that may be useful in future academic/professional settings (UCAS applications, job interviews, etc).
- With experience mentoring students aged 11-17, I am confident that every student is capable of achieving high grades, and developing greater personal skills in the process.
- Access to my personal revision resources can be utilised outside of the session so that the content learnt in sessions may be retained and built upon for the future.
- Sessions may be catered to already high-performing students looking to push further into top grade boundaries, as well as students looking to build a solid foundation of knowledge to produce strong, reliable exam outcomes.
