About Tristan
Units and measurements or optics form the core of my technical foundation. Having earned a BS Physics and MS Astrophysics from UChicago, I approach every concept through the lens of first principles. 13 years of professional tutoring have taught me how to bridge the gap between abstract theory and concrete exam preparation.
My approach relies on a rigorous grasp of electrostatics, derivations and formulas, modern physics, kinematics, and thermodynamics. Practical and lab work often reveal the true nature of these systems, leaving the complexities of the physical world to speak for themselves.
