About Liam

My career path has seen me excel as a Senior Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, and AI Consultant, including a significant stint with Endeavour Group, Australia's largest drinks network. I have demonstrated expertise in the full Data Science project lifecycle, delivering many successful projects for clients in areas of: • Timeseries Forecasting (Prophet, Additive models) • Gradient Boosting models (e.g. XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM) • Natural Language Processing (BERT, LLM) • Computer Vision (CNN, ResNet's) • Deep Learning In my current role, I guide Data Science efforts with a focus on Inferential Modelling and Optimisation. How I like to run lessons is specific to your needs, whether it is assisting you in learning university content, helping you pivot out of your current job into programming, or help guide you in solving a difficult task you’re tackling. I aim to be flexible in my teaching style with a goal to provide you as much value as possible. I usually conduct all lessons virtually via Zoom, but am flexible to meet up in person if desired.
