About Carolann
I began tutoring mathematics in high school and continued throughout college, working mainly with high school and college students. I earned a B.S. in mathematics and continued to tutor after graduating. Shortly after, I began teaching at a NJ private school, teaching grades 8 - 12 and covering subjects from algebra to geometry to trigonometry.

As a teacher, I have worked with many unique learners. My lesson plans may vary widely to meet the needs of a particular learner but a key element will remain consistent: my goal will always be to get the learner to understand the WHY behind the mathematics, to not only increase understanding but also transferability to different and unique situations.
