I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their goals. I’m passionate about making math feel more approachable and helping students develop skills that will stay with them well beyond the classroom. I’m currently studying at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and graduated from Normanhurst Boys' High School in 2024, one of the top-performing academic schools in New South Wales. I have over two years of private math tutoring experience, am currently an undergraduate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), and graduated from Normanhurst Boys' High School in 2024 — one of Australia’s highest-ranking academic schools, which placed fourth in the state that year. My lessons are designed for students from Year 6 to Year 11, whether they are seeking to improve their fundamental understanding, excel in advanced topics, or prepare for senior high school assessments. My approach to tutoring focuses on identifying and strengthening each student’s weaker areas while building a strong foundation in core mathematical concepts. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, often using a combination of guided problem-solving, step-by-step explanations, and targeted practice to build both understanding and confidence. I encourage students to ask questions freely and focus on helping them develop independent thinking skills, not just memorize methods. Lessons typically run for 1 to 1.5 hours, but can be changed depending on the student's needs and goals. This structure allows enough time for thorough explanation, practice, and revision without overwhelming the student.
