About Emerson
High school students often stare at a blank coordinate geometry grid while the clock ticks down. I see the pencil hesitation and hear the sharp intake of breath before the logic clicks into place.
My 13 years of experience have taught me that math is the primary language of the sciences. I earned my PhD in Particle Physics from UC Berkeley, which helps me explain trig and geometry with absolute clarity. Working with 320 students has refined my approach to SAT or ACT math prep. I genuinely enjoy the process of turning confusion into confidence through basic arithmetic.

Achieving mastery in math requires moving beyond simple memorization to a state of total conceptual fluency. My 10 years of experience inform every step of our technical progression through complex topics. I use my background in theoretical physics to clarify how coordinate geometry and trigonometry function in real systems. 10.0 is the benchmark for the logical rigor I expect in our work.
Clear communication is the priority here. We analyze the underlying structure of every problem set. The math becomes intuitive. Success follows naturally when the foundations are solid.
