Every student is different therefore I will use varying learning styles to optimise a learner's capability and confidence in academia. Generally, I would use a step-by-step bases to help teach the mechanisms of each topic. I would also prepare practice questions to solidify the student's knowledge and review questions at the beginning of a new lesson. I will be attentive to the learner's needs and areas on improvement and provide notes and videos if and/or when required.
Over the past year, I have tutored and helped out students between the ages 11-16 in STEM related subjects from KS3 to GCSE. I am well aware of the changes in the curriculum for the new GCSEs and A levels having done them myself. This means that my expertise in these disciplines are fresh.

Currently I am a university student moving on to my 2nd year of my physics course. When there is a topic of interest, I will invest my time and effort into the given task. Lessons will be based on topics that the student is learning in school or struggling to grasp concepts of. It would cover the syllabus they are studying depending on the examining body and I will provide practice papers that will suitably challenge students in STEM.
I teach mainly maths and physics up to A level, chemistry up to GCSE and biology up to KS3. There are also various topics in AS/A level further maths I can teach such as vectors, complex numbers, polar coordinates, multiple integrals and matrices.
One important trait a tutor must have is patience which I encompass. I also want to make maths and science fun for the learner. Techniques such as scaffolding, diagnostic assessments and formative assessments will be used to make sure all parties are on track with the content.
I have 10 GCSEs and 3 A levels in maths, physics and chemistry.
I have also achieved a 2:1 in a 2nd year module on science education.
