About Lindsay
Over the years I have been able to gain have 3 years of experience as a teaching assistant for the Spelman College Biology Department and 4+ years as a private Biology tutor. My specialties include Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Genomics, and Evolutionary Biology. Additionally, I have 6+ years of biomedical research experience and 5 scientific journal article publications.
I am fully invested in the growth and development of my students - when they succeed, so do I.

Do you remember that time when a teacher made a subject come alive for you? Well, that’s what I love to do for my students. I don’t believe that studying should be a chore - it should be fun! I encourage my students to dive into the material and genuinely learn for understanding instead of memorizing everything. My favorite part of working with students is seeing their confidence grow.
I provide a judgment-free environment that allows for my students to be 100% themselves My approach includes providing pre-session quizzes to assess areas of improvement and spaced repetition knowledge assessments, actively reviewing content (highly interactive experience), and working through practice questions to help with test-taking strategy. Prior to each meeting, I require my students to provide a list of topics to be discussed so that we can increase the effectiveness of our session.
