While I will be happy to change my teaching method to what suits you best, I will primarily focus on activity based teaching. This will include first demonstrating mathematical skills myself, and then moving through questions at your own pace. I will pay special attention to exam past papers as from my own experience and from the experience of others this is most effective way to learn the subject. I believe learning by doing is the most effective way to learn anything so this will be my focus.
I am 3rd year philosophy student at Newcastle University, with alevels in Maths, Computing, and Biology. Originally I planned to do a computing degree, but became interested in the logical side of philosophy and its relation to maths and this reason I am still confident in my mathetical ability. I have past experience tutoring cousins and younger friends in GCSE maths, which I achieved an A* in. I am a dedicated and dynamic teacher that will be able to easily adapt to your learning methods, as well as a friendly individual.
