If you have not started to learn this subject, I will teach you patiently with each chapter, make sure you understand all of it. And we will do some exam papers to check. If you just want to learn certain chapter, we can just focus on it and tackle some difficult questions. I also have some Chinese way to do the questions, which may be easier to understand.

My teaching starts with questioning and quizzing my tutee of their knowledge and understanding of the subject, grade level and past tutoring experiences etc. After I begin teaching by following their curriculum and using past paper examples from their exam board to be as specific as possible making sure the student has multiple ways to calculate the answer.
I prefer explaining things very slowly and believe in deep understanding rather than memorising. My teaching is heavily based on solving problems. The quickest and (more importantly) surest route to understanding and proficiency is through practice. I also encourage a visual approach; for both memory and comprehension, visualisation has profound benefits.
i did find from my own experience is that people learn things differently and at different paces; when students struggle with a subject, it’s usually because their learning style conflicts with the style or pace with which it is being taught.
