About Pedro
My name is Pedro, and I grew up in Miami, Florida. I earned my Biology degree from Florida State University (FSU) and am currently a U.S. MD medical student at Nova Southeastern University (NSU MD). I am pursuing a career in anesthesiology, with a strong interest in physiology, pharmacology, and clinical reasoning.
I enjoy teaching and helping students build confidence in challenging science courses by making complex material clear, logical, and approachable.

My name is Pedro, and I am a U.S. MD medical student with a strong foundation in biology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. My approach as a tutor is focused on clarity, clinical reasoning, and long-term understanding, not rote memorization.
I teach by breaking complex concepts into simple, logical frameworks, then reinforcing them through active recall, clinical-style questions, and real examples. I emphasize why things happen physiologically and pathophysiologically so students can reason through questions even when they haven’t seen the material before.
