About Grant
I have been a private biology and chemistry tutor in the past for family friends and acquaintances. I love to teach and love to be able to explain concepts and topics in ways that are not normally taught in schools. I understand that everybody learns differently and I pride myself on being able to see different learning styles in people and figure out the best ways of explaining and teaching them. One of the most satisfying things is when a student has that aha! moment where their eyes light up and a light clicks on in their brain. I love being able to help others learn and understand and feel confident in the material they have.

I go through a few concepts at a time, tying each of them into each other and using them as building blocks on one another. I often follow the pace of learning I observe in each client, so I am flexible and adaptable to each clients needs and learning style. I use practice questions and try to help the student be able to explain the concept back to me. My lessons are generally for any age up through high school, however if needed I can provide assistance for undergraduate students.
