About Me
My name is Muhammad Islam and I am a biotechnology professional with a Master’s degree from Framingham State University in Massachusetts, specializing in Quality Assurance and molecular biology.
Before coming to the United States, I spent over two years as a high school biology teacher in Pakistan, where I developed a passion for making science accessible and engaging for students of all levels. I also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Malakand, conducting hands-on laboratory research in plant molecular biology and genetics.
My laboratory expertise includes PCR, DNA and RNA extraction, ELISA, gel electrophoresis, and microbial culturing — knowledge I bring into my tutoring to give students real-world context for what they are learning in the classroom.
I am originally from Pakistan and speak English, Urdu, and Pashto fluently. I understand what it feels like to learn complex scientific material in a second language, which makes me especially effective with students from diverse backgrounds and international families.
I am patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in every student’s success. Science changed my life and I want to help it change yours too.

About My Lessons
I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology with a concentration in Quality Assurance from Framingham State University, and I have over two years of hands-on biology teaching experience. My background combines real laboratory research with classroom instruction, which means I don’t just teach theory — I help students connect concepts to real-world science.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and pace. Whether you’re struggling with cell biology, genetics, microbiology, or preparing for AP Biology or a college exam, I will break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps.
