I would aim to tailor my teaching to the individual's particular preference and methods of study in which they best learn (adapting for visual/oral/kinesthetic learners). Primarily would be working with a syllabus to process information taught in lessons at school, and to spend time practicing methods until the student was using them comfortably. I like conversation and exploring ideas and concepts, and will encourage the student to actively engage with what they are learning on a deeper level, as from experience this helps solidify lessons learned and facilitate a true understanding.
I'm a final year student of a joint honours degree (Economics and Middle Eastern studies), and am on track for a 2.1 or 1st class degree. I studied Maths, French, English Literature and Ancient History at A level. I have taught people in an informal setting before, gaining experience from helping my 3 younger sisters in their studies!
