My teaching method is first, I try to examine the student's viability and level of knowledge on the subject and determine the style of approach that I can handle with the student. Then discuss with the student whether he/she prefers solving the problems together with me while explaining about the methods and theories (like a spoonfeeding method) or I just first explain the method and theories of one topic and let the student try by themselves and ask me the questions that they don't understand. In both methods, I can ensure that the student fully understands and well aware of the topic that he/she is learning.
I am currently a first-year student at Newcastle University. I have an experience of peer-tutoring at Into Newcastle University and also volunteered at NEST by teaching to refugees. I finished my university foundation course with an overall grade of 90 for the subjects maths and physics
If the distance of the student's place is not in the walking distance from me, the hourly rate might be a bit increased.
