Methodology

The approach I take is to allow the student to tackle some problems to assess their strengths and weaknesses. This let's me know where they need the most help so we can focus their learning and I know where most our energy should be aimed at initially. For content based subjects I like to go through each topic and help them understand it to the fullest and then assess them at the end of each topic to consolidate their learning. These mini assessments allow the student and I to see what they still need to work on.
