Growing up, I've always gravitated towards problem solving and puzzles. This led towards my interest in maths and specifically applying maths in the real world, hence my Engineering degree. As I am a 19 year old I believe I am able to relate to the younger audience and understand their struggles as I was in their position not many years ago. With that being said, I am aiming to tutor GSCE, AS and A-Levels. Lessons are given in person where I plan on explaining the mathematic concepts using real world applications and hope to train my students to develop excellent problem solving abilities. As an engineer, I have participated in many group work activities which has made me exercise patience, teamwork and leadership.
Previously taught AP Calculus and 12th grade math in the American system. Despite receiving my formal credentials such as A-levels and GCSEs within the British system, I grew up in the American system having lived abroad 70% of my life, giving me more flexibility and a wider range to grab resources. Living abroad has increased ability to adapt to new people and a way of understanding different types of people.
