Poppy tutored me for almost a year last year. She is a highly knowledgeable tutor, passionate to teach her subject and is always willing to help her students further in their studies. One of her best traits is her patience - she is understanding of any difficulty a student finds in English and will persevere in teaching her students until they succeed.

Poppy is a great English teacher as she very quickly notices pronunciation, grammar and syntax errors. She also explains with clarity and constantly praises her students. As a phonetics fan she also uses a lot of visual aids and energy in her class.

During her teacher training course and teaching internship Poppy’s attendance was irreproachable, as were her punctuality and teaching approach. Poppy also collaborated very well with other members of staff.

⁃ Poppy also completed her 6 written assignments (TEFL Research), obtaining 100%
⁃ as well as the 6 final exams (obtaining 89,50%) covering phonetics, grammar, language and levels, lesson planning, classroom management, and theory of teaching.

Poppy was a fantastic tutor who was a key part in my achievement of the grade I wanted at A level. She always came well prepared with numerous resources and went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything and was making progress. Would highly recommend
