About Beriwan
I have been tutoring for approximately 6 years, having begun while studying for my A Levels. I studied Mathematics at the University of Birmingham and following my graduation, worked in Consultancy/ Banking and Finance for a few years, and continued tutoring in this period.
All of my tutees have achieved - or excelled - their grade targets. Alongside delivering the core academic content, I enjoy giving my tutees practical and honest advice on their career and academic ambitions, given I was in their shoes not too long ago!

I aim to demystify maths with my students, by providing a platform in which they can gain a thorough understanding of the required syllabus, a safe space to practice, ask questions and be supported.
It’s crucial to identify the areas the tutee requires additional support in – be it mathematical concepts, exam technique, or self-confidence - so I spend the first session discussing the syllabus and their current understanding of each topic area. Through this approach, I tailor lessons to suit the student’s objectives and needs, while creating space for them to be curious.
Together we will trial and implement the best learning and revision techniques to ensure they gain a strong grasp on the course material and techniques required of them – a method that has supported my success, and that of my tutees.
