About Stuart
I come with a mathematics and physics degree and have worked in the education industry in an organisation specialised in the mastery approach to mathematics.
This approach helps students to have a deeper understanding of maths and be prepared to solve a wider scope of maths problems rather than following a rote, factory-line approach to maths.
I have been tutoring students on and off for eight years now.

I'm a friendly, patient person with a huge amount of enthusiasm for maths and education.
I like to talk students through the maths that they encounter and allow them to come to their understanding of how the maths works through coaching and problem solving.
The best maths students should have a thorough understanding of the techniques they'll use in class and exams and that's what I aim to achieve through tutoring.
