I am a dual Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education student at UQ in my final year. The science component of my double degree entails Biochemistry as my major, and Mathematics as my minor. Combined with my education degree, I have the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts with ease to enhance understanding

My teaching method is to bring things back to the basics and scaffold new information from here. Often student's know more than they realise, and tutoring my students is a process of taking them from where they are to where they need to be. In class, topics (particularly mathematics) is taught in a manner which is far more complicated than it needs to be. I break concepts down and teach students tricks to retain new information so they can keep up to speed in class and not feel as though they are falling behind.
