About Quentin
I am a physician with advanced training in biology, physiology, anatomy, and biochemistry through medical school, internal medicine residency, chief residency, and cardiology fellowship. Teaching has been an important part of my training, and I have experience helping students and trainees understand complex material in a clear, supportive way. I believe strong teaching should build both understanding and confidence.
As a tutor, I aim to make challenging science topics feel more organized and manageable. I am patient, professional, and focused on adapting to each student’s learning style and goals. Whether a student needs help strengthening fundamentals, preparing for exams, or working through difficult concepts step by step, I strive to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making real progress.

My lessons are designed to make difficult science topics feel organized, understandable, and much less overwhelming. I tutor biology, physiology, anatomy, and biochemistry for high school, college, pre-med, and early medical students. As a physician and cardiology fellow, I focus on helping students understand the why behind the material, not just memorize isolated facts.
A typical lesson starts by identifying what the student is struggling with most, reviewing core concepts, and then breaking the topic into smaller, manageable steps. I use active recall, repetition, guided questions, and clear explanations to help students build confidence and retain information. I also adapt my teaching style to each student’s level and goals, whether they need help with classwork, exam preparation, or strengthening their foundation in the sciences.
What sets me apart is my combination of advanced medical training, real teaching experience, and a supportive approach. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions, think through problems out loud, and leave each session with a clearer understanding of the material.
