Primary Maths Tutoring £10/hr. Sixth Form Further Mathematics Student Westminster School A*/A GCSE, 9 GCSE Maths
Methodology
Each lesson I will teach in a way to fit the needs of the pupil, these may include:
- Staying ahead of the Syllabus taught in school, by teaching the syllabus on a weekly basis, allowing the pupil to have a better grip on a topic by the time they are scholastically introduced to it.
- Refreshing and consolidating areas of maths taught in school that may be unclear, ensuring the pupil never lags behind
- General help with Homework set by teachers at school, or catching up on school work
- Working Specifically towards 13+ Examinations
Experience
I have taught maths to family friends for a year. (Examples include younger siblings, helped achieve A*/A at Common Entrance Examinations).
Mentoring and volunteering at Primary Schools, problem solving and mental arithmatic, seen significant improvement in test scores over the course of several weeks.
